Christmas Radio Campaign

babychae2005This year, the Cambridgeshire Churches Media Trust will be running the Christian Advertising Network's Christmas radio campaign adverts on Star 107 - and we need your help!

CAN has been producing thought-provoking radio adverts for local radio stations for the past twelve years, and its award-winning Christmas adverts in 2003 and 2004 reached some 8.2 million people. This year CAN's interactive campaign, voiced by national radio presenter Simon Mayo, poses thought-provoking questions inviting a 'text' response - when listeners, and those who respond to the poster advert, text their response to 81025, they will receive a humorous and informative text back thanking them for taking part and pointing to the hellojesus website (currently under construction ready for the December campaign and linked to the renowned rejesus website) for more information.

You can here an example of the one of the adverts here.

Although the adverts are supplied free of charge by CAN, we are looking for donations to support the cost of broadcasting them on Star 107 (who have agreed to play the adverts in prime-time listening slots). The more money we raise, the more adverts can be put out in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

If you would like to make a contribution or want further details about the campaign, please contact James Lark by email or on 07736 129521; any money raised beyond the amount needed for this campaign will be used for future Christian media projects.
