Asylum Monologues

A free performance highlighting the experiences of asylum seekers in the UK comes to Cambridge this week. 

Actors for Refugees, an informal network of professional performers dedicated to drawing public attention to the harsh realities faced by individuals who come to the UK to seek refuge are currently touring their new production, Asylum Monologues, around the UK, and will be performing in Cambridge on Thursday May 17 at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church at 7.30pm. Asylum Monologues, scripted by award-winning playwright and Artistic Director of iceandfire theatre company, Sonja Linden, presents the compelling first-hand accounts of three asylum seekers living in the UK and disseminates what it really means to be displaced in the UK today.

Starring: Shobu Kapoor (ex-Eastenders) and Hywel Morgan.

Where: Emmanuel United Reformed Church, Trumpington Street, Cambridge CB2 1RR
